Our roots lie in Walzenhausen, in the picturesque region of Appenzell. Surrounded by unspoilt nature and fresh herbs, we have been producing our premium care products here for many years. The native herbs and plants of Appenzell, along with the region’s rich natural diversity, serve as a constant source of inspiration for our product development.
Generations of knowledge about the power of plants – combined with modern scientific and research insights – are carefully preserved and passed down. Every JUST product is an original, proudly Made in Switzerland, and carries the seal with the signature of our founder, Ulrich Jüstrich.
Since 1995, a second production facility in Argentina has been supplying countries across the Americas with the same unique JUST quality.

All JUST products are cruelty-free, not tested on animals, and dermatologically tested on volunteers.

We maintain long-term partnerships when it comes to raw material procurement. Fair prices andenvironmentally friendly cultivationare just as important as impeccable quality and the shortest possible delivery routes. The production of JUST products is characterised by high standards in quality and environmental management with GMP and ISO certification. The “Generationsbau” production facility, which was newly built in 2016, is an example of this with its sustainable energy and heat concept.
Are JUST products also suitable for babies, pregnant women, nursing mothers?
As a general rule, the product is clearly marked with its purpose and application. When used correctly, all products* are suitable for use from the recommended age of three years, regardless of gender (man, woman) or condition (pregnant, breastfeeding). The safety assessment assumes that from this age the skin corresponds to the developmental stage of an adult and from this age no further safety restrictions* are necessary.
The specific use «for babies» must meet special requirements regarding formulation and test evidence, which must be provided by the manufacturer. Due to the high concentration of active ingredients and the associated effects, JUST products do not meet the special legal requirements for products for children under the age of three.
Many years of experience with millions of customers have shown in practice that when used properly, JUST products can be used safely and effectively.

Some products have extended safety restrictions because their use or composition may pose risks even to children over three years of age. For more information, please refer to the individual product pages.
Do the JUSTproducts expire?
Each JUST product has an estimated shelf life, determined through stability studies that take into account factors such as storage time, packaging compatibility, climate conditions in production and sales regions, and transport environments. As these studies are specific to each product, expiration dates vary depending on the ingredients and formulation.
For example, our creams typically have a shelf life of 24–30 months, while oils range from 18–24 months. The expiration date is calculated from the date of production and is printed on the packaging.
To maintain product stability at home, store your items below 25°C and away from direct sunlight.
While expiration dates are set according to factory standards, many products retain their quality well beyond this period. If the product still looks, smells, and feels as it should, you can continue enjoying its benefits without concern.
